The SmallRig Top Plate for Sony FX30/FX3 XLR Unit MD3990 is designed to protect the audio unit of the Sony FX30/FX3 XLR Handle. It can be attached directly to the top of the handle via an adapter or secured with a 3/8"-16 screw on the Sony FX30/FX3 XLR Handle Extension Rig MD3490. This top plate fits perfectly with the Sony FX30/FX3 XLR Unit and includes built-in cushions for added protection. It features multiple 1/4"-20 threaded holes and a cold shoe mount for attaching accessories like a microphone or LED light.
