Wide-Angle Low-Light Shooting

The Samyang 24 mm f/1.4 UMC has a 24mm focal length, giving you a wide-angle field of view. Its super-bright f/1.4 maximum aperture makes it perfect for low-light shooting, such as astrophotography. This lens is manual focus, with distinctive focus markings on the barrel to help you get the right focus for your shot.

Wide 24mm Focal Length

Designed for use with full-frame cameras the lens provides a wide-angle view of 24mm and when used with an APS-C camera it delivers an equivalent 36mm making it suitable for landscapes, astro, street photography and everyday shots.

Ultra-Bright f/1.4 Maximum Aperture

With a bright maximum aperture of f/1.4, the prime lens has an optical design that ensures it can resolve high quality images even in low light. The large aperture allows the lens to capture stunning de-focused backgrounds with an ultra-shallow depth of field.

Eight Bladed Rounded Diaphragm

The Samyang 24mm f/1.4 lens has a round diaphragm composed of eight blades that creates pleasing bokeh in the out-of-focus areas of your shot. This is perfect for portraits and can be used creatively to control what is visible in your composition.

Low Dispersion and Aspherical Elements

Boasting an optical construction of 13 elements arranged in 12 groups, that uses of 4 low dispersion (ED) as well as 2 aspherical elements the lens minimises spherical aberrations and chromatic aberrations. This results in images with a superior sharpness and quality that can be captured in a range of different lighting conditions.

Optical Coatings

Multiple optical coatings are used on the lenses elements to improve light transmission and reduce the reflections that can result in flare and ghosting. The result is better looking images and video with better contrast even when shooting towards your light sources.

Minimum Focus Distance of 25cm

Get closer to your subject and make use of the lenses 25cm minimum focal distance to capture images that make full use of perspective in your composition. Alternatively you can amplify the lenses already stunningly shallow depth-of-field by getting nice and close to your subject and opening up the aperture.

Manual Focus Ring

The Samyang 24mm f1.4 manual focus lens has a ridged focus ring as well as a clearly marked distance scale to make easy to get your shot nice and sharp. The lens also has a depth of field scale, so you can set the hyperfocal distance of your composition with confidence.
