The mic can be powered by a range of options either using the included LB-1 Lithium-Ion Battery or 2x AA batteries. The mic even has a micro USB port to recharge the battery or power the mic for longer shoots. A new digital switching system provides better control over the sound of your audio. The mic has two stage high pass filters of 75Hz and 150z that allow you to tweak the low end, as well as a high-end boost. In addition, the mic has a three stage gain control with a +20dB that allows you to turn down noisy pre-amps traditionally found in cameras as well as a 0dB and -10dB pad for recording in louder environments.Audio Safety Mode
An innovative new recording mode can make use of the left and right audio channels by attenuating the right channel by -10dB to protect against unexpected loud spikes. This gives you significantly greater audio flexibility in the editing stage of your project.3.5mm Audio Port
The socket at the back of the microphone allows you to attach the included 3.5mm TRS cable so you can connect the microphone to an external audio recorder or camera audio port.
