Guide Number of 26m at ISO 100

With both flashes in use, the macro twin light has a maximum guide number of 26m at ISO 100 making it more than capable of delivering powerful lighting for your shoot. Each head is individually adjustable from full power down to 1/512 power, which allows you to extensively control your lighting to capture natural looking images with a 3-dimensional feel.

Detachable and Rotatable Flash Heads

Each flash head can be rotated 60° horizontally, as well as 45° vertically to provide flash positioning that suits your subject and shooting environment. The heads can also be easily detached for creative lighting setups that give you the flexibility to experiment with your flash photography.

Supports E-TTL, E-TTL II and Wireless Triggering

The macro flash is compatible with Canons E-TTL and E-TTL II flash systems to allow for accurate automatic flash exposure. With an updated 2.4GHz wireless system the flash can be used as a master unit to control up to 5 groups or up to 15 flash units for more advanced multi lighting setups.

Multiple Colour LCD Panel with Adjustable Brightness

Flash settings can be adjusted easily with a dot-matrix LCD panel that shows flash mode, flash compensation and other information. The display has 5 brightness settings and a choice of green or orange backlight illumination to make it easier to see your settings in low-light shooting situations.

Intuitive Controls with Metal Foot Mount

Featuring an advanced control system, the MT 26EX RT boasts an improved selection dial, as well as backlit function, mode and test flash buttons. The metal mount foot sports a new locking pin and a one-touch lock release button for quick mounting that protects the electrical contacts from dust.

Included Macro Flash Diffusers

In addition to the power adjustment each head can be combined with an included diffuser that softens the flash to reduce shadows and create a more flattering light. The flash can automatically detect when the diffusers are attached and compensate for any loss of power.

Recycle Time of 0.1-5.5 Seconds

Powered by 4x AA Alkaline or Ni-MH batteries the Macro Flash can recycle in approximately 5 seconds when fired at full power or as fast as 0.1 seconds at lower power settings. This improved recharge time means you can shoot more often and capture even more opportunities.

Compatible with Canon Macro Lenses

The Twin Lite is designed to be used in combination with the Canon EF & EF-S Macro lenses with a 52mm filter thread. The flash can also be used with the EF 100mm f/2.8L Macro IS USM and EF 180mm f/3.5L Macro USM lenses with an optional Macro Lite Adapter step-down ring.

Improved Focus Assist Lamps

A pair of high-luminance LED focusing lamps improve the autofocus ability of your camera in dark studio or location situations and can be used as a modelling light to ensure the correct lighting positioning. Brightness can be adjusted in 5 steps and time can be set between 20-60 seconds.

Supports High-speed Sync

The Canon Macro Twin Light MT 26EX RT can capture fast moving subjects with support for high-speed flash sync, this means you can eliminate motion blur for sharper shots with shutter speeds as fast as 1/8000 sec.
