The Sony Digital Camera Flash HVL-F32M is a feature rich, compact and lightweight external flash compatible with both Sony mirrorless and DSLR cameras. With an adjustable flash head and ample flash power output this on-camera flash perfectly balances size, power and functionality.

It also features a zoom capable flash head for added reach and wireless TTL controller capabilities for creative off-camera flash effects. Flash settings are easily adjusted via the intuitive control system and illuminated LCD display.

Create Direction Light from On Camera Flash

The flash head can zoom to ensure wide coverage from 24 to 105mm on full-frame cameras. The flash head can be adjusted to bounce of ceilings and other objects to create a directional light source (-8° to 90° vertical tilt, 90° left and 180° right horizontal rotation). A handy built-in bounce-card can reflect some of the bounced light to create catchlights in people’s eyes.

Intelligent Flash Exposure Systems

The flash utilises automatic TTL flash exposure to ensure that images are correctly exposed from shot to shot. The Advanced Distance Integration (ADI) bolsters TTL by utilising lens angle of view and camera distance to subject information to more accurately balance flash output with ambient light. Users can also utilise manual flash mode to control the power output directly in 1/3 EV stops.

Wireless Flash Ready

The flash unit is capable of high-speed and slow synchronisation speeds, as well as first and second curtain firing which enables artistic flash usage such as ‘dragged shutter’ and light painting exposures. The flash unit can also be utilised in wireless setups on compatible Sony cameras as either the wireless TTL controller or as a remote wireless slave flash for creative versatility.
