Powered by EXPEED 7, the Z5IIc features an advanced 273-point autofocus system with intelligent subject detection. The camera can recognise people, dogs, cats, birds, cars, motorcycles, bicycles, trains, aeroplanes and, for the first time in a Nikon camera, fish.

Autofocus performance extends down to -10 EV, helping the camera acquire focus even in extremely dark conditions. Whether you’re photographing portraits, pets, wildlife or fast-moving subjects, intelligent detection helps keep your subject in focus.

Full-Frame Image Quality with Powerful Stabilisation

At the heart of the Nikon Z5IIc is a 24.5MP back-illuminated full-frame sensor paired with the EXPEED 7 image-processing engine. With a standard ISO range of 100–64,000, the camera is ready for everything from bright outdoor photography to challenging low-light environments.

Built-in 5-axis Vibration Reduction provides up to 7.5 stops of stabilisation, helping reduce the effects of camera shake when shooting handheld. This makes it easier to work at slower shutter speeds, capture sharp images in lower light and produce smoother handheld video.

Capture the Moment at Up to 30 fps

For action and unpredictable subjects, the Nikon Z5IIc can shoot continuously at up to approximately 14 fps, while extended high-speed shooting reaches up to 30 fps.

Pre-Release Capture adds another useful option for fleeting moments by allowing the camera to record images from up to one second before the shutter button is fully released. It’s particularly useful when photographing subjects where anticipating the exact moment can be difficult.

Creative Looks Made Easy

The Z5IIc gives photographers more ways to develop their own visual style directly in-camera. Nikon Imaging Recipes provide creative options for achieving distinctive looks, while built-in film grain can add texture and character to images without requiring additional editing.

Made for Photo and Video Creators

The Nikon Z5IIc isn't limited to still photography. It offers 4K UHD video recording at up to 60p with crop, Full HD recording at up to 120p for high-frame-rate footage, and support for N-RAW, H.265 and H.264 recording formats.

N-Log 10-bit recording provides additional flexibility for creators who want greater control during colour grading, while dedicated microphone and headphone connections make the camera suitable for more advanced video setups, vlogging and content creation.

A 3.2-inch vari-angle monitor makes it easy to compose from high, low and front-facing positions, giving creators greater freedom when shooting themselves or working from unusual angles.

Despite its full-frame sensor and advanced imaging features, the Nikon Z5IIc remains highly portable.
