The new Light Storm COB120D MkII is 25% brighter than its predecessor, delivering a whopping 4700 lux luminance at 1m. A fixed 5500K colour temperature helps accurately reproduce natural colours and blends well with other daylight-balanced lights. With an approximate brightness equivalent to a 1000 watt tungsten light, the 120d II is an extremely powerful lighting solution.

Super-Efficient Chip-On-Board LED

With single LED chip-on-board (COB) design, the light delivers higher lumen output per square inch. This energy efficient design keeps power consumption as low as 180W while generating less heat than conventional video lights, making it easy and less costly to run.

96+ CRI and 97+ TLCI Rating for Accurate Colours

An exceptional Colour Rendering Index (CRI) of 96+ ensures realistic and consistent colour reproduction. Its 97+ Television Lighting Consistency Index (TLCI), an even more professional measurement standard of light source colour fidelity, means the COB120II will render highly accurate and true-to-life colours for both photo and video applications.

Seamless Brightness Control

Using a step-less dimmer switch, you can easily adjust the light intensity anywhere between 0 to 100% of its maximum power. This makes it extremely adaptable to almost any lighting scenario you can imagine, able to be both the brightest and dimmest light on your set.

Integrated Controller and Power Adapter

One of the most notable upgrades of the 2nd generation COB120 is that the power adapter and controller box are now combined in a single unit with hardly any change in size for a much easier set-up. It also now features a colour-coded Neutrik locking system to help keep your cables secure, preventing them from being accidentally unplugged while you work.

Controller Box and Wireless Remote

A separate controller box lets you change settings using its control panel and illuminated display. View and fine-tune parameters like brightness, set channels/groups, and more. Alternatively, you can use the included 2.4GHz FSK wireless remote for convenient operation from up to 100m away.

DMX512 Compatible

The C120D II is DMX512 (Digital Multiplex) compatible - an industry standard for digital communication networks. The 5-pin DMX input and output on the control box allow studios to integrate the light with DMX compliant equipment like lighting consoles or wireless DMX adapters giving you the ability to program more complicated lighting setups.

Intelligent Low Noise Cooling System

An extremely quiet fan makes the light ideal for video production. Built-in temperature sensors automatically vary fan speed based on ambient temperature. You can even manually set the fan speed to maximum for faster cooling. This complex system optimises heat dissipation efficiency and improves the light’s lifespan.

Powered by AC Mains or Rechargeable Batteries

The light is powered by 100-240V AC mains ensuring worldwide compatibility. If you’re outdoors or mains power is unavailable, the unit can have V-mount / Gold-mount plates for mounting separately available batteries. This dual power option makes the light suitable for both in-studio and on-location applications. The batteries can be charged while the unit is being used with AC power.

Pre-Programmed Special Effects
