The Sigma 24-105mm f/4 DG OS HSM Lens is part of Sigmas ‘Art’ series and is designed for both full frame and APS-C sized DSLRs. Constructed from a Thermally Stable Composite (TSC) material, the lens is designed to stand up to the vigorous demands of professional photographers. The rear of the lens features a hard-wearing brass mount to ensure durability and optical precision throughout the life of the lens.

 

Internally, the lens features three aspherical elements, two Super-low Dispersion Elements and two ‘F’ low Dispersion elements which combine to minimise aberrations and deliver true-to-life images with edge-to-edge clarity. Additionally, an integrated Super Multi-Layer coating helps to minimise flare and ghosting resulting in higher contrast results with excellent colour reproduction. The built-in Optical Stabiliser (OS) extends your creative flexibility by allowing you to utilise slower shutter speeds while maintaining image sharpness. Focusing is handled by Sigma’s proven Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) which delivers fast, quiet and precise autofocusing for excellent fast action situations and video filming.

 

With a versatile focal range capable of capturing a broad range of photographic scenarios and compatibility with the Sigma USB dock for further optimisation, the Sigma 24-105 mm f/4 DG OS HSM lens is a great choice as a general purpose workhorse.
