As expected with 'L' series glass, the build-quality of this lens is second to none. Its construction utilises three aspherical elements and two ultra-low dispersion (UD) lenses to produce razor-sharp detail across the entire frame.

An anti-reflective fluorine lens coating on the front and rear lens elements minimises flare and improves image contrast to deliver vivid, true-to-life colours and excellent edge-to-edge clarity.

The built-in Optical Image Stabiliser (IS) further improves clarity by minimising blur caused by camera shake. Its four-stop advantage equips you with greater creative flexibility and allows you to utilise slower shutter speeds to shoot low-light scenes without compromising image quality.

A constant f/4 aperture ensures consistency throughout the focal range which is handy for video recording by enabling you to produce zoom effects without affecting your exposure. Its high-quality nine-blade circular diaphragm produces smooth out-of-focus background effects to help minimise background distractions and allow your subject to maintain the centre of attention.

The Canon 16-35 mm f/4 IS Lens is also equipped with a Ultrasonic Autofocusing Motor (USM) that delivers fast, accurate focusing performance and weather and dust seals to allow you to continue shooting in adverse weather conditions.
