Laowa 24mm 2x Macro Probe Lens Canon EF

This Laowa 24mm 2x Macro Probe lens Canon EF may look strange, but it promises some of the most unique imaging possibilities on the macro market. Its long, thin lens barrel allows you to get up close to small objects without blocking your light source, and gives you access to small, hard to reach spaces for amazing viewing possibilities. The front barrel is also waterproof, so you can really get creative with where this lens goes. Perfect for both photo and video, it’s definitely one of the most interesting lenses available.

2x Macro Magnification

Designed for full frame cameras, the Laowa 24mm Macro Probe lens offers 2x macro magnification, making things look larger than life-size. An 84.1° field of view, also called a “bug’s eye perspective” offers a wider field of view than traditional macro lenses, allowing you to fit more into your image.

Deep Depth of Field

Perfect for macro work, the f14 to f40 aperture range offers a deeper starting point for depth of field than many traditional macro lenses. This depth also means you can actually show your subject in their habitat, preserving more detail and sharpness in your images and video.

Manual Focus Control

The 24mm Probe offers full manual operation. This allows you to really fine-tune your focus to suit the delicate nature of macro photography. The versatile focal range goes from 2:1 macro to infinity, allowing you to adjust your focus depending on how near or far you want to be from your subject.

Short Working Distance

A short 2cm working distance allows you to get right up close to even the smallest of objects to capture impressive detail. The lens also has a minimum focusing distance of 47cm so you can also keep a safe distance from subjects that might be unfriendly or easy to startle.

Built-In LED Ring Light

A built-in LED ring light right on the tip of the lens illuminates your subject and the area around them. It’s great when working in dim lighting conditions, helping to ensure your subject matter is well-lit and, most importantly, your image results are sharp and in focus.

Long, Narrow Lens Barrel

Right away, you’ll notice the unique shape of this lens. Its 40cm long, narrow front barrel makes it easy to get up close to tiny subjects, without blocking your light source. It also allows you to get into small, tight places that are almost impossible with a standard macro lens.

27 Elements in 19 Groups

Inside the long barrel lies an advanced optical design that consists of 27 elements in 19 groups. It includes two Extra-Low Dispersion elements (ELD) and an Extra-Refractive Index element (ERI). These help control chromatic aberrations and distortion, resulting in better image quality.

Lightweight with Waterproof Front Barrel

The Laowa 24mm Macro Probe lens Canon EF is narrow and lightweight, making it quite easy to carry with you into the field. To expand your creativity even further, has a waterproof front lens barrel. This lets you shoot worry-free in all kinds of conditions, from underwater, to dusty deserts. Ideal for both photo and video work, this lens opens a whole new world of macro possibility.
