The Sony A7R IV sees a jump in resolution with a newly designed back-illuminated full-frame sensor with an epic 61-megapixels. It is able to capture amazing image detail at an incredible 15 stops of dynamic range. The Sony UXGA OLED ‘Tru-finder’ electronic viewfinder ensures a seamless shooting experience with low latency at a 120fps refresh rate and 5.76 million-dot resolution.

The autofocus delivers with a total of 567 phase detection autofocus points and 425 contrast points, allowing pinpoint autofocus accuracy for sharp captures of fast-moving subjects. Combine this with the Sony Eye AF and real-time tracking system, and you have lightning fast autofocus ability in the A7R3MK4. This new model from Sony features improved weather sealing and a redesigned control layout with multiple levels of customisation thus improving handling and ergonomics.

Full Frame 61.0 Megapixel BSI Sensor

This camera is an absolute powerhouse with the world's first 61-megapixel back-illuminated full frame sensor; bringing medium format resolution to a full frame camera. The level of detail that you can capture is nothing short of amazing! The sensor is optimised to deliver superbly sharp images with a very low noise profile. Sony's BIONZ-X chip works together with a front-end LSI system to provide an impressive ISO range of 100-32,000 just like the previous model, despite the significant higher image resolution of the Sony Alpha 7R Mark IV.

4K Resolution HDR Video

As if 61 megapixel stills wasn't enough the A7R mkIV will record video in an ultra-high resolution 4K, with a Super-35mm mode for enhanced detail and the HLG colour profile, speeding up HDR workflows. To deliver the sharpest possible footage the 4K video resolution is sampled from a 6K sensor readout, allowing your video to popwhen enjoyed on a 4K television.

FE-Mount 135mm F/1.8 Prime G Master Lens

This medium telephoto lens with a large aperture is the ideal mid-range lens; a great fit for portrait on a full frame camera. Sony's latest optical technology produces razor-sharp results and with a wide aperture of f/1.8 the lens is even suited to shooting in lower light situations.

Dual Floating XD Linear AF Motors

Two Extreme Dynamic (XD) linear motors drive the large lens element groups, delivering a highly accurate, lightning fast and quiet autofocus performance. An inbuilt floating mechanism increases the closest focusing distance of the lens, allowing a minimum focus distance of just 70cm.

Bright 11-Bladed f/1.8 Aperture

The wide f/1.8 aperture, when wide open, improves light transmission for a higher throughput of light. This will become a go to lens for indoor sports, wedding photography and events which often have unpredictable lighting. With a circular 11 bladed aperture, the bokeh is gorgeous especially when wide open. At the 135mm focal length, when shooting at f1.8, the ultra narrow depth of field enriches your creative shooting. Backed up by a good build quality, sharpness, the Precision Nano AR Coating and accurate autofocus; this lens is one to rely on.
