Samyang 12mm F2.0 UMC II APS-C MFT - Silver Camera Lens

It's an extra-wide-angle manual focus lens for mirrorless cameras with APS-C crop sensors. For the first time in Samyang Optics history, the independent NCS (Nano Coating System) technology was used. It creates an even lower reflection rate than the original UMC (Ultra Multi Coating) and higher contrast. Also, the light penetration rate is very high to minimise flare and ghost. The optical construction of the Samyang 12mm F2.0 NCS CS features 12 lenses in 10 groups—among them, 1 glass aspherical lens (AS), 1 hybrid aspherical lens (H-ASP), and 1 low-dispersion lens (ED) to provide high image quality.

H-ASP minimises colour aberration to realise exceptional image quality and high contrast for the centre and corners of the image even when the aperture is fully opened. ED lowers unnecessary light dispersion to effectively drop colour aberration. With such an optical construction, it has a 0.2m minimum focal length.

There are 6 aperture blades designed to be almost a full circle when the aperture is closed, which expresses starlike rays clearly and beautifully in deep depth of field images. The frame of the Samyang 12mm F2.0 NCS CS is compact and solid since it is made of high-strength aluminium alloy. Trustworthy images can be captured even in an inferior environment. The petal-shaped lens hood will shelter the lens from unnecessary light.
