The Laowa 7.5mm f/2 MFT is the widest rectilinear f/2 lens available for Micro Four Thirds cameras, providing a 110° ultra-wide angle of view equivalent to a 15mm lens on a 35mm sensor. Despite the 2x crop factor, this lens offers impressive wide-angle capabilities ideal for astro-photography, architecture, and landscape photography. The lens is designed to be super compact and lightweight, weighing under 0.200kg and measuring 5.5cm in length. An ultra-light version is available for aerial photography, perfect for drones and gimbals, though it lacks electronic connections for aperture and focus control. The lens features a 46mm filter thread for added convenience and portability. Both standard and lightweight versions share the same optical design, with the lightweight version designed specifically for aerial use.
