Canon EOS RP: Compact and Lightweight

The Canon EOS RP is Canon's most compact full frame camera yet and is set to shake up the mirrorless market. Boasting excellent image quality, fast autofocus performance and a range of video features, this lightweight and super-small camera is ideal for vlogging, travel photography and video production on the go.

26.2 Megapixel Image Sensor

Canon's smallest full frame mirrorless camera ever boasts a high quality 26.2-megapixel CMOS image sensor that captures ultra-fine details with refined clarity. Ideal for photographers and film makers who want to record moments that matter without carrying around a massive kit.

Lightweight and Compact

With an innovative design, the RP is the 25% lighter and 10% smaller than its big brother the EOS R, and a massive 35% lighter and more than 25% smaller than the 6D Mark II full frame DSLR. This makes it easily one of the most compact full frame mirrorless cameras every created. That said, canon hasn't forgotten about shooters who prefer a larger camera, they have developed an extension grip available in a choice of three colours that maintains card and battery access.

Full Frame Performance in Low-Light

The EOS-RP's large 35mm sensor is more sensitive to light than the smaller sensors used in mobile device or APS-C cameras, combined with Canon's DIGIC8 image processor that equips the RP with a native ISO sensitivity range of 100-40000 and an extended 50-102400 range. Able to focus in lighting conditions as dark as -5EV the camera captures stunning low-light images and video footage.

3-Inch Vari-Angle Touchscreen

Vloggers and movie makers everywhere will be stoked to hear the EOS-RP has a vari-angle rear screen that can be flipped around to check framing, focus, and shoot from new interesting perspectives. The LCD is touch sensitive and supports touch & drag AF to allow you to perform smooth focus transitions on-the-fly by simply dragging your fingers between subjects on the screen.

Continuous Eye Detect Autofocus in Movie Mode

Another feature sure to be appreciated by vloggers everywhere is Canon's eye detect AF, which now works in continuous servo focus mode as well as in movie servo mode. It makes use of sophisticated tracking algorithms to improve face detection and movie autofocus performance. Combined with the microphone input and headphone output this ensures that the RP is destined to be a favourite among video creators.

2.36 Million Dot OLED Viewfinder

A high resolution 2.36 million dot OLED viewfinder allows shooters to see clearly what they're shooting, even in bright sunny conditions. Focus on the importance of framing and composing the image without distractions. An EVF shows you exactly what the sensor can see,  delivering 100% frame coverage.

Ultra-high Resolution 4K Video

The Canon EOS RP records 4K quality footage at 30p with an impressive 3840x2160 resolution, to produce movies with a high level of detail that can be viewed on a 4K television or down sampled with editing software to produce Full HD footage with enhanced sharpness.

4K Time-lapse and Built-in Intervalometer

Capture stunning time-lapse footage in glorious 4K that can be used to effectively transition from a day to night scene or represent the passing of time. Perfect for vloggers or film-makers. The footage can be easily created in-camera or if you want more flexibility you can use the new built-in interval timer mode to capture higher resolution RAW files to sequence manually.

Dual Pixel AF with up to 4779 points

Canon's impressive dual pixel AF uses innovative technology built into the pixels on the sensor to produce incredibly accurate and lightning fast autofocus performance in as little as 0.05 of a second. With a wide autofocus area the camera has up to 4779 selectable AF point positions, for complete focus control.

Canon Camera Connect and Bluetooth

The RP features an always on Bluetooth connection that once paired with your smartphone that be used to automatically transfer images and control the camera remotely. Perfect for sending images to your mobile device or taking wide group shots remotely.

Canon understand that content creators and photography enthusiasts need to be remain nimble on their feet to make the best work. That's why they have designed the Canon EOS RP to be their most portable full frame camera yet without sacrificing quality. The R series of cameras are quickly establishing themselves as the go-to cameras for content creator that need the work the produce to be world class.

This Kit contains the Canon EOS RP Digital Camera + Canon RF 24-105mm f4L IS USM Lens.
