The Aputure 300d II Light Storm LED light boasts an improved design that delivers a 20% increase in brightness as well as a re-designed yoke for 360° of rotation, allowing you to point the light wherever you want. The mark II also introduces a re-designed control box with a fan-less construction for silent operation, as well as dual slots to connect V-mount batteries as well as a new quick-release plate and clamp system to secure the box to your lighting stand.

5500K Balanced LED Light with High Colour Accuracy

Not only is the 300D II 20% brighter than the previous model but the new-and-improved light still offers the same 5500K balanced colour temperature, as well as impeccable colour fidelity with a CRI rating of 96+ and a TLCI rating of 97+. This means you can trust that the colours on set will be captured faithfully by your camera.

Control Box with New Secure Mounting System

Aputure have re-worked the way the control box can be mounted, adding a quick release plate and clamp system so it can be attached to lighting stands, poles or truss quickly and securely. The control box still has slots for two V-mount batteries (not included) and can be powered from AC as well.

New Positioning Yoke System with Locking Handbrake

With a new yoke design, the light can be rotated 360° allowing it to be positioned easily and quickly. It also inherits the same oversized locking handbrake as the 120d II light to secure the light from moving once the position has been set.

Super-Efficient Chip-On-Board LED

With single LED chip-on-board (COB) design, the light delivers higher lumen output per square inch. This energy efficient design keeps power consumption at a maximum of 350W while generating less heat than conventional video lights, making it easy and less costly to run.

Stepless Dimming Control from 0-100%

One of the best functions to come to the new 300D II light is the ability to reduce the power of the light with stepless dimming and a choice of dimming curves. Choose from four different options; linear, logarithmic, exponential, & s-curve.

DMX512 Compatible

The C330D II is DMX512 (Digital Multiplex) compatible - an industry standard for digital communication networks. The 5-pin DMX input and output on the control box allow studios to integrate the light with DMX compliant equipment like lighting consoles or wireless DMX adapters giving you the ability to program more complicated lighting setups.

2.4Ghz Wireless Remote & Bluetooth Control

As well as support for DMX the light can also be wirelessly controlled from up to 100m away using the included 2.4Ghz remote. It can even be controlled from a mobile device from up to 400 metres away using Bluetooth 5.0 and the Sidus Link App.

Pre-Programmed Special Effects

The light includes pre-programmed special effects like Paparazzi, Fireworks, Fault Bulb, Lightning, and TV screen. You can even input your own effects. This significantly reduces time and cost in achieving creative effects, making it an especially powerful tool for independent film makers.

Bowens Accessory Mount

The LED light is based around the popular Bowens mount system. This means you can use the light with a huge range of attachments and accessories to modify the light’s output depending on your lighting needs.
