The Tamron 35mm f/2.8 Di III OSD is a versatile everyday wide-angle lens for Sony FE cameras that combines an ultra-portable build with an impressive 15cm minimal object distance and a 1:2 magnification ratio.

Designed to provide more light in dark conditions and to help create a shallow depth-of-field, the lens has a maximum f/2.8 aperture. It can be closed to a minimum aperture of f/22 and has a 7 bladed circular diaphragm that can create 14-point starbursts when shooting point light sources. Tamron are making a lot of noise of late, thanks to the impressive optical performance of their latest lenses and the 35mm f/2.8 FE is no exception. It has 9 elements arranged in 8 groups and uses a combination of low dispersion (LD) and glass-moulded aspherical (GM) elements to produce incredibly sharp results.
