The SmallRig KGW112 Universal Mobile Phone Vlog Kit has been created with mobile content creators in mind, for Vloggers, Live Streamers and Social Media Stars in general. Included in the kit are 2 pieces of equipment from Small Rig, the Standard Universal Mobile Phone Cage and the [Mini Tripod with Panoramic Ball Head BUT2664.

Compatibility

The SmallRig CPU2391 Standard Universal Mobile Phone Cage will work with most smartphones in the market with compatibility for devices with a width between 63mm to 86mm. The spring-loaded clamp securely locks your phone in place while making attaching and detaching your phone a breeze.

Many Configurations

The KGW-112 gives a multitude of possible configurations for different types of video recording and stills capture for ultimate creativity and convenience. The phone cage provides plenty of mounting points for accessories when using it with or without the tripod, giving you options for tabletop set-up, handheld, plus more.

Multiple standard, 1/4”-20 threaded holes around the unit and 2 cold shoes allow for attaching accessories such as the tripod, lighting, microphones and stabilising mounted accessories. Optional Small Rig add-ons like the SmallRig 1984 Universal Handle would be a great addition for moving shoots. You could even purchase the SmallRig BUB2378 Holder and attach a battery pack for portable power - great for sustainable charging on the move, giving you more time for live streaming or general shooting. The optional SmallRig Mobile Phone Cable Clamp BSC2390 will ensure a tight joint of a phone cable.

Two holes at the bottom of the unit allow for lanyard or neck strap attachment and the rubber pads give stability and protection to the smart device.

Adaptable Tripod

The SmallRig BUT2664 Mini Tripod has a Panoramic Ball Head that is perfect for your smart device and accessories. It will even double as a tripod for other gear in your kit such as compact DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, small camcorders and action cameras. When folded down the tripod acts as a handle grip under the cage, perfect for speaking to camera, streaming to an audience or selfies.

The tripod by itself without the ball head can hold up to 20kg of gear while the ballhead will hold up to 2kg. Quite a substantial set-up, with accessories. Rubber feet ensures a solid and stable foundation on most surfaces.

The ball head is calibrated for accurate 360° panoramic rotation, -90°/+45° front tilt as well as -50°/+50° lateral tilt. Perfect for multi-angle adjustments for horizontal and vertical shooting. The standard and widely compatible Arca-Swiss quick release plate allow for quick mounting and dismounting of your device.
