Designed Around the Photographer

The Fujifilm X-Pro3 Duratect Silver combines stylish sophistication with uncompromising functionality. With its predecessors the X-Pro1 and X-Pro2 a firm favourite among hardcore Fujifilm fans, the X-Pro 3 features a design focused on ensuring you don’t miss a moment.

26.1 Megapixel X-Trans CMOS 4 Sensor

At its heart is a versatile 26.1 Megapixel back-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor that uses Fujifilm’s proven random pixel array configuration to deliver the vibrant colours and ultra-smooth tonal gradations for which Fuji is renown.

No Low-Pass Filter

The omission of an optical low-pass filter further bolsters image quality and improved detail, maximising the amount of information gathered across the entire APS-C sized sensor.

Ultra-Fast X-Processor 4 Image Engine

Utilising the latest X-Processor 4, the camera offers improved overall response when using the camera, from focusing to shooting, to general menu navigation and image playback. Its 11fps burst mode is ideal for capturing those fleeting moments,

4K30 Ultra-High Definition Video Recording

The processor also makes it possible for the X-Pro3 to capture 4K30 Ultra-High Definition video. A significant improvement over the previous generation, it offers additional creative versatility for content creators and multi-media professionals.

-6EV Low-Light Focus Capability

Improved autofocus performance further maximises the clarity in your shots. An improved algorithm on the X-Pro3 enables the camera to focus at a minimum luminance of -6EV, or near pitch-darkness. Ideal for event and street photographers, where your lighting cannot be controlled or if you’re just seeking to capture a moody street scene with just the available ambient light.

Hybrid Optical/Electronic Viewfinder

The much-loved hybrid viewfinder allows you to swap between a lag-free optical viewfinder and an electronic viewfinder has been further developed to suit your shooting preference or photographic scenario.

3.68 Million-Dot High Resolution EVF

The upgraded EVF now features a 3.69 million-dot organic EL panel that utilises a high contrast ratio of 1:5000 to offer an uncompromising view of the highlights and shadows in your image. This amount of detail makes it a breeze to nail the correct exposure, especially in high contrast and backlit shooting scenarios.

1.62 Million-dot LCD Screen

The rear of the camera features a ‘hidden’ 1.62 million-dot tilting LCD touchscreen. Paying homage its lineage of Fujifilm film cameras, the default configuration of the screen is actually a small ‘Memory LCD’ that shows the box art for various film simulations and can be configured to show crucial settings such as ISO and white balance.

Trust Your Instincts

Hiding the rear LCD is an intentional move by Fujifilm to force you to enjoy taking photos without distractions. Encouraging you to remain in the moment, trust your instincts as a photographer, and just keep shooting.

Film Simulation Mode

Long regarded as the masters of colour, the film simulations in the X-Pro 3 can creatively alter the way you look at the world. The broad variety of simulations available alter the colour and tonality of your shot to evoke a certain emotion or a sense of nostalgia. Classics like Acros, Eterna Velvia and Provia are at your disposal, without the development and printing costs.

Classic Neg Simulation

The Classic Neg film simulation mode has been included as part of the X-Pro3’s tribute to the photography styles of days gone by. Classic Neg is the film type most commonly used by casual photographers, and will definitely bring back memories if you grew up before the age of digital photography.

Ultra-Durable Titanium Construction

The construction of the X Pro3 is an uncompromising combination of the highest quality materials. Designed to withstand the rigors of daily use or intended to be handed down from generation to generation in a similar vein to classic film cameras, the cameras top cover and base plate are made from ultra-durable titanium.

Duratect Surface Hardening Technology

The implementation of ‘Duratect’ in the Dura Black and Dura Silver colour options help to further protect the cameras external aesthetics. Duratect is a surface hardening technology which features a Vickers hardness rating of up to 1500Hv. This coating protects the cameras surface from dings and scratches while accentuating the look with a unique texture and minimalist matt finish.

Weather Sealed Construction

Weather sealing has been applied to 70 points throughout the Fujifilm X Pro3’s body, making it a perfect complement to the broad range of dust and moisture resistant Fujifilm X-Mount WR lenses. It’s also capable of operating in temps as low as -10°C, giving you the confidence to go out and shoot, even in the harshest weather conditions.
