The NiSi 100mm ND Extreme Filter Kit is a collection of four 100mmx100mm solid Neutral Density filters that limit the amount of light entering the lens by 3 to 15 f-stops. The filters allow you to use wide open apertures or slow shutter speeds in bright daylight conditions for creative landscape and long exposure photography.

Exposure Control for Creative Effects

Solid neutral density filters reduce the amount of light passing through the lens to create a uniform darkening of the entire image without affecting sharpness or colours. Less light reaching the sensor allows you to shoot with a wider aperture or slower shutter speed than normally required without over exposing the image. They make it easy to create dramatic effects such as motion blur, or to achieve a shallow depth of field under full sunlight.

100x100mm ND8 Filter

With a 3-stop reduction in light, the ND8 Neutral Density filter is used when you only need a slight decrease in brightness such as when shooting on partly cloudy to mildly sunny days. This filter also improves your control over depth of field in bright conditions.

100x100mm ND64 Filter

The ND64 filter provides a 6-stop reduction in exposure to enhance the versatility of your kit. It gives you the freedom to choose the exact exposure for the scene and shoot with either a slightly faster shutter speed or in slightly darker conditions.

100x100mm ND1000 Filter

This ND1000 Neutral Density filter provides a 10-stop reduction in light reaching the sensor allowing you to capture images using a slower shutter speeds in brightly lit conditions. This is particularly useful for creating artistic motion blur effects such as smooth milky effect of cascading water, or streaks of moving clouds.

100x100mm ND32000 Filter

The ND320000 Neutral Density filter provides an impressive 15-stop reduction in brightness. This super-stopper filter gives you the opportunity to shoot with ultra-long exposures to create dramatic motion blur effects in your images even in extremely bright light. Shooting with such long exposures also allows removing moving subjects such as human distractions form city scapes.

Clear Optical Glass

Each filter is made from 2mm thick lightweight and durable optical lens glass. A fine annealing process and double sided optical grinding and polishing results in high image quality and sharpness. Gaskets on the rear side of the filter ensure a snug fit in the filter holder slot to prevent light leakage and vignetting.

Infrared Coating

An infrared protection coating over the filter creates images free of red cast caused by infrared light especially while shooting with extreme wide or small apertures.

Nano and Super Multi-Coating

An anti-reflective Nano-coating reduces glare, to ensure brighter colours and high image contrast, while an oleophobic and hydrophobic coating on both sides helps keep the filters free of water, grease and fingerprints marks, making it easy to clean and maintain.

Filter Pouch Included

The NiSi 100 mm Neutral Density Extreme Filter Kit comes with a soft storage pouch that holds each of the four 100 x 100mm filters in individual slots to keep them safe and prevent scratching.
