Secure Video and Photo Recording with Swissbit iShield Camera Series

The Swissbit iShield Camera microSD Card is an easy and retrofittable security solution for encrypting and protecting access to video and photo recordings. It is host-independent, meaning it is plug-and-play and can be used with a range of camera types. The solution also includes the "iShield Camera Card Tool" (iCCT) software. With its plug-and-play approach, iShield Camera can be quickly integrated into existing systems, allowing manufacturers and users of drones, body cameras or dash cams to add an extra security feature to their models, preventing unauthorised access to sensitive camera data or meeting legal requirements. In addition to AES 256-bit encryption and PIN user authentication, iShield Camera offers full HD video support and industrial-grade temperature resistance. When the camera is switched off or the microSD card is removed, the AES-256-bit-encrypted data content can't be read without PIN authentication, not even in the camera itself. Access and further processing are only possible via the computer, where the card can be unlocked via iCCT. This effectively prevents the unauthorised transfer or manipulation of video recordings.
