The Sony RX100 III is an exceptional compact point-and-shoot. Its outstanding image quality and exceptional shooting versatility push the boundaries of what is possible from a true pocket-sized digital camera.

With an established cult-following as the ideal secondary camera amongst serious enthusiast and professional photographers, the innovation and improvements with the RX100 Mk3 is sure to only further cement its reputation.

20.1 Megapixel Sensor

Vivid, high-detail images are captured via a 1-inch 20.1 Megapixel Exmor R CMOS Sensor. Boasting a capture area almost four times the size of a regular point-and-shoot, the sensor ensures rich colours and true-to-life detail across a broad range of photographic scenarios. The Backside Illuminated (BSI) design excels in low-light scenarios, producing low-noise results across throughout its generous ISO25600 range.

Full HD Video Capabilities

An updated BIONZ X image processor is three times as powerful as its predecessor and is the same as that found on the critically acclaimed A7r full frame camera. This power delivers Full HD video recording encoded at up to 50Mbps for superior detail and maximum versatility in post-production. A maximum 120fps frame rate at 720p can be utilised to record super-smooth 5x slow motion and help take your movies to the next level.

Electronic Viewfinder

A high resolution retractable electronic viewfinder (EVF) has been implemented in the MkIII version to provide you with improved composition accuracy when shooting in bright or difficult lighting conditions and delivers better accuracy when critical focus is required. It features a bright 1.4 million-dot OLED panel with a ZEISS T* coating and an automatic eye sensor to ensure convenient automatic switching when moving between the viewfinder and screen. The innovative pop-up design ensures portability and ergonomics are not compromised by sitting flush with the camera body when not in use.

Grip with Built-in USB Cable

Created specifically with vloggers and content creators in mind, the Sony VCT-SGR1 Grip has a 1/4-inch screw with a built-in tightening dial that makes it easier to attach your camera. It also has an integrated USB cable, which allows users to connect compatible cameras for even better control.

Record and Shutter Release Buttons

Buttons at the top of the grip can be used to start and stop video recordings and control shutter release when a RX100 or RX0 series camera is connected. The included zoom control allows you to zoom in or out while recording.

Converts into Tripod with Tilting Head

The grip has an ergonomic design and folds out to be converted into a mini-tripod. The head tilts 70° up and 100° down for capturing creative video from various angles and supports a maximum load of 1kg.

Dimensions (W x H xD):

[Grip] Approx. 36.1 × 108.3 × 30.0 mm
