The Samyang MF 14mm F2.8 MK2 EF Mount is an ultra-wide-angle lens with improved usability that inherits the legendary Samyang wide-angle series. The lens features a focus lock and de-click mechanism as well as weather sealing and a micro-patterned rubber ring. The Samyang MF 14mm F2.8 UMC II is a manual-focus ultra-wide-angle lens with superb sharpness, even at maximum aperture, perfect for landscapes, interiors, architecture, astrophotography and so on.
Focus Lock & De-click
“Focus Lock” and “Declick” are two brand-new features of the Samyang MF 14mm F2.8 MK2 lens. This allows the user to ‘Lock' the focus, which improves astrophotography and time-lapse stability. Besides, the ‘de-click function enables delicate and smooth aperture adjustment without clicking. When you change the silver ring from "Click" to "Free," your aperture will no longer be stopped at every aperture similar to cine lenses.
Creative Expression with Ultra Wide-Angle of View
The Samyang 14mm F2.8 Renewal UMC II lens offers a minimum focusing distance of 0.28m as well as a 115.7° angle of view. This enables the photographers to capture stunning images with emphasis on perspective which is unique to wide-angle lenses. Weather sealing and Updated Design
The Samyang MF 14mm F2.8 MK2 lens features environmental seals around the lens mount area to prevent infiltration of moisture and/or rain drops intrusion. This feature adds an extra layer of protection when shooting outside in inclement weather. The redesigned micro-patterned rubber focus ring on the 14mm F2.8 Renewal UMC II reduces contamination and improves grip. The rotation angle of the focus ring has also been altered to allow for quicker adjustment.
