The RODELink Newsshooter Kit is a secure audio recording system that uses 2 channel transmission to ensure you get the strongest signal possible. It can connect with up to 8 enabled microphones and record wirelessly, with settings, levels, and battery capacity clearly visible on OLED displays.

Camera Mounted Receiver

The Newsshoter’s RX-CAM Receiver can be attached to a standard camera shoe mount or 3/8 inch thread. Though you can only operate one mic at a time, the receiver can connect with up to 8 TX-XLR transmitter enabled microphones, with the channel switcher allowing you to choose which mic audio you actively want to receive.

2.4GHz Transmitter Frequency

The TX-XLR transmitter uses series II 2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption to send clear audio to the receiver from up to 100 metres. It can be attached to a variety of microphones with XLR or 3.5mm TRS inputs. One-touch pairing makes set up easy, and quick, especially when using multiple mics and transmitters.

48V Phantom Power

The transmitter supplies 48V phantom power from its XLR input and plug-in power via the 3.5mm TRS input.

Battery or MicroUSB Powered

The receiver and transmitter can be powered by MicroUSB cables or 2 x AA batteries (sold separately), giving you up to 7 hours of use, depending on battery type and audio requirements. The transmitter is also compatible with Sony NP-F batteries for increased flexibility.

OLED Displays

Both units feature convenient OLED displays for easy monitoring of battery and output levels. In addition, the receiver’s display shows audio volume, mute status, channel selection, and more.
