The Pelican 1450 Small Air Case offers a lightweight storage solution for your camera gear and equipment without compromising strength or durability. The case includes padded dividers to keep your gear snug and safe as well as a moulded resin build and a weatherproof design with an O-ring gasket that keeps your equipment protected from water and dust.

Lightweight Co-Polymer Build

The case is moulded from ultra-high impact structural copolymer to ensure it is lighter than similar size cases without compromising strength or durability. This helps to reduce the weight of your kit, making it significantly easier to take your gear on location no matter where the shoot is.

Customisable Foam Interior

With a combination of different foam sets like an “egg crate” foam upper section, a pick ‘n’ pluck foam section and a 1-inch thick bottom foam section, the interior of the case can be customised. This ensures that you can be confident your kit can stay snug and secure while inside the case.

O-Ring Seal

A 6.4mm O-ring gasket built into the case provides watertight protection to keep your equipment dry as well as providing protection from dust. With a hefty waterproof rating Pelican cases are tested by being submerged underwater at a depth of one metre for 30 minutes to ensure that your gear will be protected from any water incursion.

Purge Valve Balances Air Pressure

The purge valve is designed to automatically balance air pressure between the interior and exterior of the case, which helps compensate for changes in air pressure reducing strain on your equipment.

Drop Tested and Crush Proof

Well-constructed and extensively tested, Pelican brand cases are one of the most reputable brands when it comes to durability and protection. The cases are comprehensively tested while fully loaded, by being dropped from a height of 1.8m onto concrete as well as being crush tested to ensure they can withstand a 12.7kg weight falling from a height of 91cm.

Double Throw Latches

Metal hasps built into the case allow you to hook a padlock onto either side of the case to keep your gear safe and secure. The double throw latches are constructed out of an ABS Polymer and are quick and easy to flick open to access your gear.

Rubber Handle and Dedicated Card Holder

The Pelican 1450 Small Air Case has a rubber handle with moulded fit designed to make carrying your gear more comfortable. The case even includes a dedicated card holder section to help you quickly and easily identify and keep track of your equipment.
