Full Macro Mode with 0.3x Magnification

The lens has a minimum focusing distance of 30 cm across the entire zoom range. To bring out further intricate details and textures, it offers macro-style shooting at the telephoto end with up to 0.3x magnification and a minimum focus distance of 30 cm.

Fast, Accurate, and Quiet Autofocus

An ultra-quiet stepping motor (STM) has been designed for the new Z-mount lens. It delivers smooth and quick focus while keeping motor noise to a barely audible level for discrete operations such as event coverage. The lightning-fast focus acquisition and impressive subject tracking boost the AF performance of the lens. Full-time manual focus (FT-M) override enables making fine adjustments quickly without having to switch out of AF mode.

Customisable Focus Ring

The super-smooth focusing ring offers comfortable control over manual focus. This is also ideal for video applications, allowing great control over iris transitions while recording.

9 Blade Diaphragm

The Nikkor Z 24-70mm f/4 features an aperture diaphragm with seven curved aperture blades creating smooth out-of-focus areas with a natural aesthetic. The bokeh quality equips you with the ability to emphasise your subjects and introduce a beautiful depth-of-field effect to your shots.
