With a 27mm equivalent focal length in 35mm format, it can focus on subjects as close as 11cm from the lens' front element (MOD 20cm). Designed for versatility

The Fujifilm XF 18mm F/1.4 is a compact and lightweight lens with only 7.56cm length and 0.37kg weight. It features a filter size of 62mm and a minimum focusing distance of 20cm. Its F/1.4 aperture allows you to shoot in low-light situations while also producing incredibly smooth bokeh. This allows it to be used for a wide range of purposes, from capturing everyday moments to sweeping landscapes.

Exceptional optical performance

To reduce chromatic and comatic aberration, the XF 18mm F/1.4 employs three aspherical lenses and one ED lens among its 15 lens elements distributed across 9 groups. The focus group, which consists of six lens elements, moves in unison to reduce aberration fluctuations that can occur when focusing in order to deliver consistent sharpness.

Fast, accurate, and near-silent autofocus

To provide fast, accurate, and near-silent autofocus, the lens uses an internal autofocus (AF) system driven by a powerful linear motor. You can achieve focus in as fast as 0.25 seconds from minimum object distance (MOD) to infinity. Besides, when using manual focus, all of the components in the manual focusing ring have been designed to provide precise control.

Weather-resistant design

The new aperture ring design includes a 'A' position lock, which prevents the aperture ring from accidentally moving from the Automatic setting. The XF 18mm has eight weather-resistant seals along the lens barrel, making it resistant to dust, moisture, and temperatures as low as -10°C. Besides, the lens barrel is made of metal, but it is designed to be as light as possible without sacrificing overall strength.
