Two Aspherical Lens Elements

Despite its diminutive size, the XF16mm lens offers high resolution optical performance. Its internal structure consists of 10 elements in 8 groups, and includes two aspherical elements which help minimise spherical aberrations and field curvature. The end-result is tack-sharp imagery with excellent contrast, accurate colour reproduction and edge-to-edge sharpness.

Aperture Ring with Auto

Synonymous with the XF range, the lens features a ring on the lens barrel for aperture control. Its defined click stops ensure setting your exposure is done quickly and accurately. Aperture can also be set to auto mode for automatic electronic adjustment in-camera.

Fast, Silent AF Performance

The stepping motor design of the AF system is optimised to deliver fast, silent focusing performance, well suited to both photo and video applications. A manual focus ring on the lens barrel is well damped allowing for more tactile feedback and improved focusing precision.

Weather Sealed Construction

With its weather sealed construction, the Fuji XF16mm f/2.8 R WR lens is dust and splash resistant. Additionally, it is designed to operate in temps up to -10°C making it perfect for landscape photography on your next travel adventure.
