The Carl Zeiss Batis 25mm f/2 Sony wide-angle lens for Sony Full Frame E-Mount cameras is designed to capture creative perspectives and unique close-up images. An 82° angle of view and a close focusing distance makes it ideal for a multitude of photography scenarios including landscapes, architecture and interior photography, group and event photography plus general travel photography.

A bright f/2 aperture creates a shallow depth of field effect and gives you the freedom to shoot in low light without sacrificing image quality.

Innovative OLED Display

Allowing you to concentrate on shooting, Zeiss has integrated an OLED display on the lens ring for easy and precise reading of the focus distance and depth of field.

Superior Image Quality

The Distagon Optical design consists of 10 glass elements in 8 groups. Its floating element design is combined with 4 double sided aspherical elements to help reduce aberrations throughout the focusing range and deliver consistent edge-to-edge sharpness with reduced distortion.

Image quality is bolstered by the inclusion of a T* anti-reflective coating on the lens surface, effectively minimising reflections for greater image clarity, contrast and colour fidelity.

Autofocus is controlled by a smooth linear motor design which delivers, fast quiet operation. For manual focusing scenarios, an ergonomic rubber ring offers greater tactile control for critical focusing applications.
