Wide Range Light Sensitivity

The Sekonic Litemaster Pro L-478DR-EL light meter has a tremendous light sensitivity of -2 to 22.9 EV at ISO 100 which allows you to take accurate exposure readings before taking a shot. Especially if you are shooting HD videos with your DSLR cameras, the Sekonic Litemaster exposure meter provides you with HD and HD cine settings. Using these settings you can meter light for a specific shutter angle from 1-358° and frame rate selection from 1-1,000 fps.

Large Touchscreen Display

2.7” touchscreen display is bright, easy to read and offers intuitive control. Large touch buttons make changing the settings effortless and free from any confusion. Exposure values appear in large font size which can be read without straining your eyes. The EL Skyport modes are highlighted in Green and Red colours for easy identification and to make sure that your studio lights are firing properly.

Elinchrom Skyport Compatible

The exposure meter can measure as well as control the flashes fired by Elinchrrom Lights having Skyport receivers. The RX range of Elinchrom studio strobes can be controlled using the 20 channel transmitter built into the exposure meter itself. Exposure can be precisely controlled by clubbing the lights into different groups (up to 4), each set at a different value.

Customisation for Different Needs

The exposure meter has a lumisphere which is retractable to measure the light from single source and when it is in an exposed position, it measures light from all the direction. While shooting products under multiple lights with varying intensities, and for other photography purposes when you need to measure light of only a selected area, 5° viewfinder (sold separately) can be easily attached. The lightmeter can be profiled for 3 separate cameras using the profiling target (again sold separately) and data transfer software (free download) to help you fine tune exposure readings which are already precise.

Runs on AA batteries

The Sekonic L-478DR-EL works on 2AA batteries which can be easily available at most retail outlets. So when you are travelling for any assignment, any need for changing batteries would not stop you from getting perfectly exposed photographs or videos.
