Ultra-Fast and Silent Autofocus

The AF system uses a stepping motor to drive the lightweight focusing elements in near-silence, while delivering extremely fast and accurate autofocus. The silent motors eliminate excessive focus noise making the lens perfect for video shooting. When combined with the phase detection AF system of the Fujifilm X-Pro2 and X-T2, the lens can focus in an astonishing 0.05 seconds.

Internal Focus System

The lens focuses internally by moving the inner lens groups without changing its length which eliminates any lens movement while changing focus, this is especially useful when shooting macro. With a minimal focusing distance of 22cm you are able to get close-up to capture fine detail with the lens.

Aesthetic Bokeh Blur
