Robust Construction

The 3 Legged Thing Albert Carbon Fibre Tripod is light weight yet strong enough to carry up to a 30kg payload. 8 layers of carbon fibre are combined with aircraft grade magnesium alloy to give it the strength to handle a heavy camera and lens with ease.

Multi-Angle Legs

The legs of the Albert can be opened at 23°, 55° or 80° giving you flexibility to adjust their angle independently to deliver stable positioning of your camera gear, even on undulating ground. The legs can be spread wide, reducing the camera height to capture unique angles or macro-style detail of ground level subjects. Using the legs in a narrow position allows you to raise the camera up with minimal impact on stability to achieve shots that demand higher elevation. When the tripod is not in use, the legs can be reversed to make the entire tripod compact and easy to store.

Wide Range Height Adjustment

The 5 section legs of the Albert tripod along with the telescopic centre column make it one of the most scalable tripod designs available. The impressive range of adjustment allows you to vary your camera height anywhere from 13cm to 179cm, giving you the ability to capture a broad range of unique compositions.

Versatile Centre Column

The collapsible centre column features 3 sections to help you to fine-tune its height for the perfect shot.

Detachable Monopod

As with all 3LT tripods, a detachable leg equipped with a 3/8" screw can be used in conjunction with the Tri-mount plate to create a handy monopod. Its light weight and telescopic design equips it with the versatility to also double as a microphone boom pole, camera boom arm, selfie stick and more.

ParaLock System

The ParaLock System is a parallel locking mechanism in each of the legs which secures the legs to prevent accidental disassembly. The strong grip of the mechanism ensures the safety of your expensive photography gear and stability in your compositions. The twist-style locks are simple to operate and have no projected knobs making both the handling and storage of the tripod easy.

AirHed 360 Ball Head

The proven AirHed 360 ball head is a perfect match for the Albert tripod system. Its simple operation furthers your ability to fine-tune the position your camera. Made of magnesium alloy and stainless steel, the AirHed 360 is durable yet lightweight offering you the best of both worlds. The head features an Arca-Swiss style plate for quick release and an independent pan lock for greater freedom while shooting. The bubble level built into the ball head comes in handy for checking camera alignment.

Quick Release Plate System

The clamp on the AirHed 360 features Arca-Swiss compatible quick release plate system that can also be used with Peak Design Capture Clip (sold separately). The quick release plate allows you to remove your camera from the tripod in the blink of an eye and put it back again with zero effort. The ball head comes bundled with one QR3P quick plate.

Includes Carry Case

Capable of delivering exceptional performance in most scenarios the 3LT Albert with AirHed kit comes with a carry case to ensure it is easy to carry and remains protected when in transit.
