The Tamron AF 16-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD MACRO is a versatile all-in-one zoom lens designed for Nikon F-mount APS-C DSLR cameras. Offering an impressive 18.8x zoom range spanning 16-300mm (equivalent to 24-450mm on a full-frame sensor), this superzoom delivers wide-angle landscape capability through to super-telephoto reach without changing lenses. The variable aperture ranges from f/3.5 at 16mm to f/6.3 at 300mm, closing down to f/22-40 across the focal range. Built-in Vibration Compensation provides approximately 3 stops of image stabilisation, making handheld shooting easier at longer focal lengths. The PZD (Piezo Drive) autofocus system operates quickly and silently, whilst macro capability at 300mm offers a 1:2.9 magnification ratio with a minimum focus distance of 15.3 inches (0.39m). Advanced optical design includes aspherical and low-dispersion elements for excellent image quality across the entire zoom range. Weighing just 540g, this compact superzoom is the ideal travel lens and everyday all-purpose optic.
