Expanded Options for Broadcast

The AW UN70 can record in camera footage at 4K as well as stream 4K over IP - perfect for remote video applications such as live events, live screen signage, video conferencing and other remote video production. It's expansive feature set makes it a great choice for professional broadcasts and streams. With Power over Ethernet (PoE+) just one ethernet cable is needed to supply power, for control and to stream audio and video. This simplifies the setup and will lower overall installation costs. Both the 4K and Full HD stream can be set to work with different bit-rates up to 50Mbps with up to four channels of IP streaming in HD (H.264 encoding). Audio can be captured via a mic or line input with an equaliser function and audio embedding to IP, HDMI, SDI, USB and microSD recording.

Control via IP

IP Control allows for image monitoring with PC, Mac and mobile terminals with the ability to control up to 100 cameras via IP from a single controller. Through the remote access you can start and stop recording, download clips and even control FTP transfer - all over IP. The unit is equipped with RS422 and RS232C (in/out) remote remote terminals. Camera control is even possible with an iPad with the optional Control Assist Camera AW-HEA10. As well as remote capture/streaming, the UN70 takes a microSD card for video and audio recording in camera and with support for USB Video/Audio Class, the camera can even be used as a webcam with high-quality output.

4K & HD

Designed with the current and future requirements of the streaming industry in mind this camera utilises a range of outputs including USB, HDMI & Local Area Network. As well as an ultra-high resolution of the 4K footage, this camera is adaptable and supports High Definition at 1080/50p with 3G-SDI output.

Expanded Capabilities

The unit is driven by impressive internal technology with a 1/2.3-type MOS sensor, 20x optical zoom with an extendable iA Zoom that will go out to 22x in 4K and 30x in HD. The optical image stabalisation (OIS) will compensate for vibration from things like audio speakers and closing doors. The output quality is top of its class with HDR (High Dynamic Range) for varying light conditions such as backlighting. An ND filter with various options (Auto, Thru, 1/4, 1/16, 1/64) will reduce light while a Night Mode makes shooting possible under IR light (automatic switching supported). Paired with the 4K (3840 x 2160 25p) and HD resolutions the professional light control will make for a amazing footage. Both BB and Tri-level external synchronisation inputs are supported.
