Seamless Integration with Olympus Underwater Housings

The Olympus Underwater Flash UFL-3 is a compact and lightweight TTL strobe that can be used in fresh or salt water at up to an incredible 75 metres of depth. The light is designed to work seamlessly with a number of Olympus cameras and underwater housing combinations.

With a close to daylight colour temperature of 5400K, the UFL-3 is able to reintroduce red light and tones absent at lower depths, resulting in brilliantly colourful images of aquatic life.

Automatic TTL or Manual Flash Control

The flash can be set to trigger in a number of different modes including automatic TTL, where the flash power is automatically set by the system to accurately illuminate the exposure, or Manual, where the user defines the power output. The system also allows for a multi-strobe lighting setup by utilising the slave mode triggering system.

The UFL-3 offers a wide spread of light both on land and underwater, with an equivalent 24mm lens coverage (on land). By attaching the included diffuser, users can achieve an even wider spread of light.

Targeting Light

The Olympus Waterproof UFL-3 Strobe features a handy targeting light useful for accurately aiming each unit and controlling the direction of the light. The target light doubles as a focus light and ensures that you can focus the camera even in dim settings.
