The Nissin i40 Compact Flash combines high power output with portable convenience. Available for Canon, Nikon, Sony, Micro Four Thirds and Fuji mounts, the i40 supports E-TTL and i-TTL while also incorporating a LED video light with 9 adjustable brightness levels for maximum creative versatility.

Lightweight and Powerful

Despite weighing only 203g (excluding batteries), this space-saving unit features an impressive flash output of GN40 at 105mm for excellent coverage between a focal range of 24mm to 105mm. A built-in wide-angle diffuser can be used to spread the output for usage down to an ultra-wide 16mm.

Versatile Flash Head w/ Built-in Light Modifiers

The versatile flash head is capable of tilting upwards 90° as well as rotating 180° in both directions to deliver an all-encompassing 360° range. A built-in fill-in reflector, light diffusing panel and included soft box provide additional creative capabilities, allowing you to change the property of light to suit your specific creative requirements.

Simple Selector Dial

A simple and intuitive DSLR style selector dial makes it easy to adjust the function and power output of the flash and serves as a quick visual reference to exactly what settings you’re using.

E-TTL and iTTL Flash Exposure Compatibility

With TTL flash compensation, its light output can be controlled to compensate for the exposure on your main subject while the camera exposes for the background, leaving you with natural looking photos that highlight both the foreground and background. TTL flash compensation can be fine-tuned from -2EV through to +2EV by 0.5EV steps to ensure accurate exposures across a broad range of lighting scenarios.

5600K LED Video Light

The integrated LED video light is suited to users who shoot both stills and video, such as wedding photographers. The LED light features a balanced colour temperature of 5600K and delivers approximately 3.5 hours of run time thanks to its low-power design.

Flash Stand & Soft Case Included

The Nissin i40 Flash which runs off 4x AA batteries (sold separately), includes a soft case for protection during transportation and a flash stand. A 1/4" thread in the base of the stand allows the flash to be positioned on the ground or on a tripod for and used as a wireless slave to help push your creative boundaries.
