The Nikon 28mm f1.4E lens has been made tough, with dust and moisture-resistance and fluorine coating on the front element. This coating allows and dust and smudges to be wiped away with ease, without causing damage. The lens elements have also been treated to a pair of Nikon’s other lens coatings, Nano crystal and Super Integrated. This means flare, ghosting, and internal reflections are all reduced, while contrast and colour-accuracy are excellent. This lens features a rear focussing design, which permits it to remain portable throughout usage, while the Silent Wave Motor assures AF performance is fast and whisper-quiet.
