The MH-C9000 Battery Charger has four independent slots that can be used to analyse and recharge AA or AAA batteries with a range of capacities between 100 and20,000mAh. You can quickly top up Ni-MH or Ni-Cad batteries from a normal mains outlet at home or even in your car with the optional 12V Adapter (sold separately) so you can recharge your batteries anytime!
Charges up to Four Ni-MH or Ni-Cad Batteries
There are four independent slots in the Powerex MH-C9000 Battery Charger allowing you to charge 1-4 AA or AAA batteries at a time. The charger supports batteries with capacities ranging between 100-20,000mAh to ensure that you have enough power for your cameras or any other devices.
Five Operational Modes
The Charger has five modes of operation to help you Charge, Refresh & Analyse, Break-In, Discharge and Cycle the batteries for your devices.
Ensures that batteries are recharged at the pre-set rate you have chosen for optimum long-lasting battery life. This mode is particularly useful for frequently used batteries to make them last for longer.
Refresh & Analyse mode:
Allows you to charge and discharge batteries at a selected rate to ensure that they are operating at their highest capacity. Designed for batteries that have been unused for between two weeks and three months.
Can be used for capacity measurement and “Battery Forming” and is intended to condition new batteries or those that have remained inactive for longer than 3 months to make sure they are functioning optimally.
You can drain batteries at a chosen rate, which is useful to analyse the amount of charge stored in a battery.
The charger can perform charge/discharge cycles. You can choose anywhere up to 12 cycles, and the discharge capacity is stored in the memory of the charger and displayed later.
When batteries are grouped together, performance is normally limited to that of the weakest battery. With the matching function on the charger you can manually group together batteries with a similar capacity. By doing this, you’ll know that you’re getting the best possible matched performance and that poorly functioning cells are not limiting the capacity of the other batteries or the amount of use you get from a device. It is a great feature that means you can make the most of your recharging time.
Choice of Charge and Discharge Rates
The charger has options of 29 charge/discharge rates which allow you to precisely check battery function and choose the best charge and discharge rates to prolong battery life. There are also 19 charging currents ranging from 0.2-2.0A (200-2000mA) and 10 discharging currents from 0.1-1.0A (100-1000mA) in increments of 0.1A which you can use to test and maintain your batteries.
Charge control with Temperature Protection
The battery charger is equipped with an advanced charge control system that monitors the time and temperature during operation. This protects the charger and batteries and eliminates the possibility of overcharging or undercharging.
Using the backlit LCD display on the charger you can easily check and set your operating information. The large screen is easy to read and displays battery capacity, voltage, current and time elapsed for charging and discharging.
Suits 12V input
The Powerex MH C9000 comes with a 100-240V power adapter which can be used when charging from mains power, or alternatively it can use a 12V adapter (sold separately) so you have a range of different charging options.
