The stop bath rinse immediately halts the development process by neutralising the developer, and prevents alkalinedeveloping agentsfrom transferring into the acidic fixer bath, extending the life of yourfixer solution.

Darkroom Friendly

A stop bath is specifically recommended for dish/tray processing of paper or deep tank processing of film. The low odour compositionfacilitates working in a darkroom, and is compatible with both RC as well as fibre based paper.

Ilford Ilfostop contains apH sensitive indicator dye that changes colour from yellow to purple as the stop bath becomes exhausted.
