The Gary Fong Lightsphere Universal Basic Kit is a comprehensive flash diffusion bundle built around the iconic Lightsphere Universal Cloud diffuser -- a large, round, soft and flexible dome that slips over the front of virtually any shoe-mount or handle-mount flash unit. The interior of the Lightsphere is fully textured to produce exceptionally even, soft light dispersion while its translucent material minimises light loss, keeping your flash powerful as well as flattering. The innovative patented Grip mounting system provides a secure, adjustable hold on any flash head -- from a compact Nikon SB-600 to a larger Metz handle-mount -- so there is no need for rubber bands or awkward adapters. The frosted Cloud version adds an opaque inner layer for an even softer effect, making it ideal for close-up, portrait, and event photography. Also included is a WhiteDome for diffusing direct light without lens flare, an AmberDome to warm flash output for dusk, tungsten-lit interiors and sunrise/sunset shooting, and a ChromeDome reflector panel that nearly doubles light output when maximum brightness is needed. A spare Universal Mounting Kit rounds out the bundle, ensuring you are never caught without a backup grip on the job.
