The DJI Osmo Z-Axis Adaptor (Part 47 / OSP47) is a spring-loaded stabilising arm that sits between the Osmo handle and the Zenmuse X3 gimbal and camera, acting as a vertical shock absorber to dramatically reduce the up-and-down bounce that occurs during handheld walking or jogging shots. The gimbal and camera assembly mount to the top of the Z-Axis arm while the Osmo handle locks in securely at the bottom, and the arm height can be fine-tuned via a tension adjustment knob to suit different shooting styles and operator heights.
