The Cokin Expert Kit contains 3 essential and widely used filters that can be applied to a range of different photography styles and settings. Despite their darkening effect, ND filters don’t affect the colouration of your photos, rather they allow you to achieve different creative effects or improve the contrast on certain parts of your composition. The Expert Kit includes a solid Neutral Density ND4 filter, Gradual ND4 and ND8 filters, plus a filter holder with 4 adapter rings to fit your lens and get you ready to start shooting right out of the box.

Cokin Z-Pro Series Filter Holder

The Z-Pro Series filter holder is designed to accommodate 100 x 150mm filters and is suitable for medium format cameras and broadcast media. It can hold up to three Cokin square or rectangular filters at once, allowing you to stack creative effects.

Filter Holder Adapter Rings

The kit comes with adapter rings that allow you to easily attach the holder to your lens and set up your filter system. The kit includes 4 lightweight, anodised aluminium adapter rings in 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, and 82mm sizes, suiting a range of different lenses.

Cokin Solid ND4 Filter

The solid 100 x 100mm ND4 filter provides a 2-Stop exposure reduction, uniformly darkening the whole image and allowing you to shoot with a wider aperture even in bright conditions. It’s ideal for creating artistic motion blur in landscapes and for extremely shallow the depth of field effects.

Cokin Graduated ND4 and ND8 Filters

The graduated ND4 filter provides 2 stop exposure reduction while the ND8 provides 3 stops. The dense edges taper from dark to clear, targeting specific areas of an image. It’s ideal for darkening bright skies and making clouds stand out, while leaving the rest of the image unchanged. The centre transition line is perfect for well-defined horizons with distinct difference between the sky and land.

Made with CR-39 Optical Resin

Each filter is made from CR-39 Optical Resin that boasts great light transmission while still being lightweight and durable, highly resistant to bumps and abrasion. The Cokin Expert Filter Kit is an excellent, convenient solution and starting point for creative effect photography right out of the box.
