The Canon WFT-E2IID Wireless File Transmitter is a professional-grade accessory designed to attach directly to the EOS-1D Mark IV (and compatible with the EOS-1D Mark III and EOS-1Ds Mark III via firmware upgrade), giving your camera full wireless and wired LAN capability. Supporting IEEE 802.11a/b/g Wi-Fi as well as Ethernet, the WFT-E2IID enables fast, secure FTP image transfer to a server, remote Live View shooting and capture control via EOS Utility or the built-in WFT Server, and Canon's Camera Linking Function that allows up to 10 cameras to fire simultaneously from a single shutter release - ideal for sports and editorial photography. A built-in USB host port supports connection to external hard drives for on-location backup, while GPS units can be connected via USB cable or an optional Bluetooth dongle to append precise geotag data to every image's EXIF record.
