The Angelbird AtomX SSDmini 500GB delivers excellent performance with a portable design that is compact and lightweight. With read speeds up to 560 MB/S and write speeds up to 520 MB/S the tiny little unit pack a punch and is more than capable of handling the high data rates that Atomos external recorders require. It is available in 500GB and 1 TB capacities depending on how much footage you need to capture.

Developed for 4K Atomos Workflow

Designed for the latest developments in the cinematography world, the SSDmini has a standard SATA interface that is SATA 3.0 compliant (SATA cable sold separately). It is compatible with the Atomos Ninja V 4K recorder and keeps up with the demanding transfer speeds required for high resolution and fast frame rates footage produced by modern video cameras.

4K60p and 2K240p ProRes Raw Supported

Because of its incredibly fast capabilities the Mini SSD supports the new Apple ProRes RAW codec and 4K frame rates up to 60p as well as 2K resolution footage with a 240p frame rate. It also supports Cinema DNG at 4K up to 30p making it a super versatile storage medium.

With protection from overload and electrostatic discharge (ESD) you can be confident that your video files are safe from any electrical damage while stored on the drive. It has a robust full aluminium housing to protect your data and the drive is rated for a operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C.
