The Tokina AF AT-X 12-24mm F4 is recommended for APS-C format DSLR cameras, where it provides an 18-36mm equivalent zoom range. Internal focusing helps maintain consistent image quality across the zoom range and prevents the lens barrel from rotating during use, allowing circular polarising filters to be used.
