Placed between your camera body and lens, a teleconverter uses optical elements to increase the effective focal length of the lens. The Kenko Teleplus HD DGX 2.0x Converter doubles the focal length of your lens, so a 300mm lens becomes the equivalent of 600mm.

The HD DGX 2.0x Converter features genuine Gate Array IC (Integrated Circuitry), helping maintain signal integrity between the camera body and lens. Its 3 to 5 element design uses premium multi-coated optical glass supplied by Hoya Corporation, the worldÕs largest optical glass manufacturer.

Full autofocus operation is possible when used with a lens that has a maximum aperture of F2.8 or brighter. Please note that AF will only perform correctly when there is sufficient light and subject contrast for the cameraÕs AF sensors to operate properly. Manual focusing may be required when using lenses with smaller open f-stop values than stated above.

The Teleplus HD DGX converters also feature updated circuitry for more accurate EXIF data recording. In the EXIF exposure data, the converter records the equivalent aperture and focal length of the lens setting plus teleconverter. Optically and mechanically, these converters are identical to the previous high-quality Teleplus HD DGX models.
