The HOYA MIST DIFFUSER BLACK series is a specialist effect filter created to deliver a refined, cinematic look at the time of capture. It uses a fine black nano powder sandwiched between two layers of premium optical glass to diffuse light around highlights and gently reduce shadow contrast without softening the entire image.

This construction produces subtle visual depth, attractive flares and a classic film-style appearance, helping you create a Òmovie-likeÓ feel and vintage texture without relying on extensive colour grading or retouching in post-production.
