Godox makes lighting setups easier with the 150cm Octa Umbrella-Style Softbox with Bowens Mount. Its octagonal design and umbrella-style frame make it quick to open, pack down and transport, making it ideal for studio or location work. It produces soft, flattering light and, when used with the included grid, offers improved directional control. The standard Bowens mount ensures broad compatibility with a wide range of lighting fixtures. The UL series is well suited to wedding, editorial and on-location photography and video work.

Umbrella-Style Design

The umbrella-style construction allows for fast setup and breakdown. It opens like an umbrella and folds away just as easily. A side zip provides access to the softbox without removing the included white inner baffle and outer diffuser.

Removable Deflector Plate and Diffusers

This softbox includes a deflector plate that can convert it into a beauty dish-style modifier when required. This gives you a punchier look similar to a beauty dish rather than a traditional softbox. It also includes a white inner baffle and an outer diffuser for soft, even light output.

Silver Interior and Grid

The reflective silver interior helps maximise output while distributing light evenly. A removable grid is included to reduce spill and provide the directional control needed for more selective lighting.

Optional Accessories

Godox also offers an optional edge mask that blocks the centre of the softbox for more controlled contour lighting. Light spills from the edges, creating crisp, refined highlights. The optional edge mask is ideal for product photography, fashion editorials and commercial still life work.

Wide Compatibility

The UL series is fully compatible with Bowens mount strobes and LEDs, and can also be used with selected Godox, Profoto and other mounting systems via an optional adapter. Godox offers an optional speed ring for the Godox mount, a Profoto mount adapter and a Broncolor adapter. Kayell also offers additional mount adaptors for Elinchrom.
