The Fujifilm X-H2S is the latest flagship in this highly successful series, featuring a 26.2MP X-Trans Stacked BSI CMOS sensor and a newly designed X-Processor 5 image processor. Together, they deliver outstanding stills and video performance, with video recording available in 6K30p and 4K120p. The new processor also helps produce exceptionally low-noise images across the expanded ISO range of 80-51200, while supporting the cameraÕs impressive speed. This includes lightning-fast autofocus with advanced subject tracking, plus continuous shooting speeds of up to 40 frames per second.

The improved processor also enables support for more advanced video codecs, including Apple ProRes 422 HQ. Dual memory card slots are included (SD and CFexpress Type B), allowing users to take advantage of these high-end features while storing larger files and more of them.

The Fujifilm X-H2S also introduces a new 5-axis in-body image stabilisation system, offering up to 7 stops of stabilisation. This is especially useful when shooting with longer lenses, working in low light, or capturing fast-moving subjects.

For sports and action photographers, the X-H2S can sustain burst shooting for extended periods. At 30fps JPEG or 20fps RAW, it can capture over 1000 consecutive frames. A large, clear electronic viewfinder supports traditional eye-level composition, while the 3-inch tilting, touch-sensitive LCD screen is ideal for vlogging and shooting from awkward angles. Video creators will also appreciate the microphone and headphone ports for improved audio monitoring, along with a heat-dissipating design for longer recording sessions. It is also compatible with a separately available cooling fan.

Built for both studio and field use, the Fujifilm X-H2S features a rugged body with advanced dust and weather resistance, plus a shutter mechanism rated to 500,000 actuations. The camera is designed for a refined handling experience, with multiple buttons and dials and improved button materials. In addition to the tilting touchscreen, it includes a top LCD display for quick access to key shooting information, which is especially valuable in fast-paced environments. As with the X-H1 before it, the X-H2S features a larger handgrip for improved balance with longer and heavier lenses. Other design highlights include a dedicated video record button for instant video capture.
