The Epson Expression 13000XL is an A3 graphic arts scanner with a resolution of 2,400 x 4,800 dpi. Two lamp design
A bright white lamp is used for scanning positive transparencies, while a blue light source is used for negative transparencies. This helps reduce processing time and improves negative-to-positive conversion in the final image.

High optical density
With an optical density of 3.8Dmax, the Epson Expression 13000XL captures a broad tonal range, helping preserve detail in both highlight and shadow areas.

Fast scans
Scan an 8.5" x 11" colour image at 300 dpi in as little as 23 seconds. A 35 mm slide can be scanned at 2400 dpi in 51 seconds, and a 4" x 5" colour transparency can be scanned in under three minutes.

Powerful software included
The package includes LaserSoft Imaging Advanced SilverFast® SE Plus 9 and an IT8 chart for colour calibration, helping ensure consistency from the original to the scanned image. Scans can be enhanced using the editing tools in Adobe Photoshop. Restore faded colour photographs with Easy Photo Fix scanning technology. In addition, Advanced Digital Dust Correction helps remove the appearance of dust from film and photos.

Unique autofocus optics
Epson's optics system provides pinpoint focusing on originals positioned up to 6 mm above the scanner glass, making it ideal for scanning 3D objects and slides.
