The DJI Ronin 4D brings together years of DJI innovation to deliver a premium filmmaking system for demanding cinematographers. Designed as a modular platform, the camera unit handles high-end video performance, advanced stabilisation and wireless transmission. Included is the Zenmuse X9, DJIÕs flagship camera with a full-frame sensor and high resolution, paired with the powerful CineCore 3.0 processor. This version of the DJI Ronin 4D supports up to 8K75fps and 4K120fps video.

DJI is best known for its 3-axis gimbal-stabilised cameras, but the Ronin 4D adds a Z-axis to create smooth 4-axis stabilisation for more stable footage.

Professional audio capture is also supported, with the option to connect an external microphone via the 3.5mm and XLR inputs, or use the built-in microphones for dual-channel 24-bit audio recording.

The Zenmuse X9 offers up to 14 stops of dynamic range and excellent low-light performance thanks to its dual native ISO. It features 9 built-in ND filters, which can be changed quickly using the motorised system. The native DL mount is compatible with 3 compact full-frame lenses, with more to come, and the camera can also be used with other lens mounts such as Sony E and Leica M. The DJI Ronin 4D also includes a large, bright 5.5-inch touch monitor, which can be positioned for comfortable viewing and framing, and mounted to different points on the camera body.

Combining cinema-grade image quality with integrated gimbal stability, the DJI Ronin 4D makes it easier to achieve cinematic results in a portable setup. With a range of sensors, it can handle complex camera movements, while ActiveTrack Pro provides improved subject tracking so your main subject stays in frame throughout movement.

The new LiDAR focusing system adds flexible focusing options, including fast and accurate manual focus that is also suitable for users new to manual focusing, plus quick AF performance for manual-focus-only lenses when the focus motor is mounted to the camera. Automated manual focus is also available, allowing users to rely on autofocus while still making manual adjustments whenever needed.

DJI O3 Pro video transmission technology is built into the Ronin 4D, enabling wireless transmission over distances of up to 20,000 feet. Along with 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz, O3 Pro supports the DFS frequency band and AES 256-bit encryption, and can transmit Full HD video to remote monitors simultaneously. In addition to the CFexpress card slot, the DJI Ronin 4D can record RAW footage to a connected ProSSD drive and can also record externally via the USB Type-C port.
